It’s sunny, it’s spring, still lots of things to do to properly open the little houses in the forest and welcome you warmly.
Last week, we took a walk on the beach of Fatima north of Seignosse, a magnificent wild beach out of the way, with an incredible stock of driftwood washed up on the shore polished by the salt and the waves. As there are tons of them in winter and spring…between the many plastic waste dumped by the ocean. Unfortunately…
So easy to choose them, to pick them up and to imagine the path that these small branches of all sizes have traveled…incredible wood species in bright orange, yellow, brown colors…
My attention fell on an already ready-made square, rather rectangular sign with a few old rusty nails on each side. Perfect !
I told myself that I was going to simply cut it in the middle, give it a nice makeover and engrave the names of the 2 studios on it so that you would find yourself there on the day of your arrival. And yes, the 2 small studios are built identically and it was wise to name them. So that when you arrive you can put your suitcases in the right place, at home.
What could we do with all that other driftwood?
Flower boxes, embankment borders, original delineation of a small bowling green…making coat racks…we’re not lacking in ideas. Following the next episodes.
Adishatz ;)
